William Marcus Humphries

William Marcus (Markie) Humphries, age 62, was awarded his peace Sunday October 27, 2024.

He was born May 25, 1962, in Akron, Ohio and was a resident of Akron all his life. He was a very caring and giving person. He was the father of twins who he was very proud of. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. The night he passed he was so excited the Browns won the game and now he gets to eternally rest in peace.

He was preceded in death by parents Inez and William Humphries, grandparents, Gene and Wilma Humphries; brothers. Gerald and Gene Humphries; uncles, Benny, and Frank Humphries, aunts, Rose Short, and Patricia Lewis, and stepmother Angela Humphries. He was survived by the only mother he has known, Theresa Humphries; children Eric and Erica Rivers, sisters, Nichole, Tasha Humphries, LaVita (Michael) Miller, Tonya (James) Clark; and host of other aunts, uncles, family and friends. Special message from Eric: “I love you forever dad you will be truly missed”.

A private ceremony has already taken place. Adams Mason Funeral and Crematory were entrusted with final arrangements.
