Tony Cavileer

Tony Cavileer, Anthony to his Mama, was born on Friday, October 20, 1950.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was a 1968 graduate of Hoban High School and received a B.S. degree from the University of Akron in just three years. He and his wife, Beth, loved spending time with family and friends at their Lakehouse which he called his Happy Place.  He was sadly preceded indeath by his beloved nephew, Richard Cavileer.  Tony is survived by devoted wife, Beth, wonderful children Jonas (Chrissy) and Jared (Lauren) and his beautiful grandchildren, Jamison, Penelope, Bailey, and Scarlett Scout.  He is also survived by his loving siblings, Jackie Postma (Jim), John F. (Kathy), Janina Postma (Jeff), John J. (Mary), Jamie (Mary), and Jonna (Lou Maglione), sister and brother in laws, Claudia and Chuck Reisinger and Skip and Cindy Collins and many adoring nieces and nephews.  

Tony was a larger than life kind of guy whose personality matched his smile.  “Let me tell you a story. . .”  

Friends and family may join us in celebrating Tony’s life on Wednesday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to noon with mass immediately following at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Minkahz Nets Mission.
