Terry L Gauthier

Terry Lawrence Gauthier transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home on Tuesday February 28, 2023. He was born in Akron, Ohio June 6, 1957, to the late Sara McNeal and Frank Joseph Gauthier.

Terry accepted the Lord October 16, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Terry attended Akron Public Schools, graduating from South High School. He attended Trade School for carpentry, which became his life's passion. Terry got his start with this father painting the exterior of houses during the summer and various carpentry jobs in the winter.

In 1984, he worked for Monsanto and Advanced Elastomer Systems until 2005. He went to work for Exxon Mobile through retirement in 2015.

In 1984, he met and married Linda McCray. They spent 38 wonderful years together. Terry was a very loving and compassionate man. He moved his family, his friends, and some very special ladies "The Chocolate Golden Girls". He loved to fish with his good friend Kenny Hudson. He also loved to bake lemon pound cakes and sweet patoto pie. Terry was an awesome cook, He had quite a collection of antique miniature cars.

Terry loved the lord and enjoyed reading the bible and studying the word with his friend Rev Tony Johnson.

Terry was processed in death by his parents Frank Joseph Gauthier and Sara McNeal, aunts, uncles, and his loving dog Missy.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife Linda Gauthier, two children Terry Thomas (Jennifer) of Akron, Ohio and Danielle Neri of Suffolk, Virginia, two stepchildren Christopher Robinson of Akron, Ohio and Ryan McCray of Garfield Heights, Ohio three grandchildren Terry II, Tristian, and Trinty, brother Frank (Marion) of Cuyahoga Falls and sister Juanita Chambers of Canton.
