Stella Mae Bender

Stella Mae Bender, 77 of Akron passed away January 7, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.  Stella was born in Wadsworth, OH to Harry and Mary Dunkle, on March 30, 1946.  Stella enjoyed gambling and playing cards with her grandchildren.  She always won, as she would say.   She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Carmel Bender. her parents Harry and Mary Dunkle, her sister Barb, brothers, Raymond and Gerald Dunkle.  She is survived by her daughter Sheila (Jon) Williams, Sons Carmel, Robert (Debbie) and Tom Bender. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
