Shelley Lynn Pompeo

It’s with incredible sadness that we say goodbye to Shelley L Pompeo (58). Wife, mother, “mimi” and friend to many. Shelley passed away peacefully on October 30, 2022, in the company of her loving family.

Shelley lived a life that took her on many journeys and wild rides, literally. She was born in Orrville and grew up in Seville, Ohio with 2 brothers and 6 sisters. At the age of just 16 she met her lifelong best friend and husband. Traveling throughout the country and as far as Nova Scotia, Canada, they were able to raise a family that despite the hard roads, she loved hard. Shelley was known for her outspoken nature, her bright blue eyes and could be heard belly laughing from across the room.

Shelley is preceded in death by her parents (Delmar and Doris Couch) and older brother (Ronald). She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years (Philip A Pompeo), daughters (Philicia Pompeo, Shelby Pompeo, Catherine & Tommy Fankhauser), grandchildren (William and Bella Simms), many siblings, nieces, and nephews.

A casual celebration of life may be held at a future date still to be determined by the family.
