Sheila Amendolar

Sheila Amendolar, age 58, passed away on November 6, 2024, in Akron, Ohio. Born on December 29, 1965, Sheila spent her life nurturing and loving those around her, embodying the true spirit of a family matriarch. Known for her courage, care, and creativity, she brought joy and laughter to all, especially through the festive gatherings with her beloved grandchildren. 

Sheila is survived by a loving and extensive family, including her children Nichole Amendolar, Angela Amendolar (Richard), Jessica Underwood (Matt), Elizabeth See (Brian), Patrick Amendolar, and stepdaughter Mary Amendolar-Morris; grandchildren McKenzie Morris, Abrianna Morris, Savannah Monroe, Richard Monroe, Lillian Rutherford, Michael Rutherford, Austin Underwood, Wyatt See, and Raelynn Underwood; great-granddaughter Margarett Lute; her sister Jill Matheney Baker (Bob); loving nephews; and family. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Otis, and her husband, Peter. 

Throughout her life, Sheila found joy in crafting, cherishing every moment with her children and grandchildren, and savoring the simple pleasure of a cold Coca-Cola. While she leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, her legacy of love and laughter will forever resonate with those who were fortunate to know her. 

Details regarding memorial services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Sheila’s memory to a charity of your choice, honoring her spirit of generosity and care.
