Samuel D Husk

On April 18^th, 2023, Sam Husk passed away in his home at the age of 54. Sam was born in Ohio in 1968, the son of Barbara Anderson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of four years, Staci; brother: Michael (Laura) Husk; sisters: Kay Nicholas and Norma (Bruce) McCartney; brother-in-law: Todd Pohner; stepchildren: Krysten, Anthony, Jacque and Cade; and grandchildren: Khaleel, Leon and Natalie. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Nicholas and brothers Jeff and Rick Husk. Fondly known as everyone’s favorite “Uncle Sam”, he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Above all else, Sam cherished his family, football, fishing and food. Sam would say that Saturdays were for the Buckeyes and Sundays for the Cowboys. He loved nothing more than spending his weekends watching the games with his nephews. If it wasn’t football season, Sam’s ideal day would include an early morning of cooking breakfast, casting a line on the lake, or manning the grill at the family cookout. He loved spending time with his loved ones and was always the first person with a joke or a “nevermind” to lift your spirits.

Following his wishes, there will not be a service, but Sam would instead request that his family and friends always remember “I love me too”.
