Rosemarie F. Saloiye

Rosemarie F. Saloiye, born on April 25, 1936, in Akron, OH to John and Elizabeth Regec, gently departed this world on August 16, 2024, in Stow, OH, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She passed away peacefully in her sleep.

A devoted wife and mother, Rosemarie was the heart of her family. She is survived by her son, John Saloiye, and his wife Marylynn; her son Joe Saloiye and his wife Melissa; and nine grandchildren alongside eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom were sources of immense joy and pride throughout her life.

For many years, Rosemarie dedicated herself to her career at Kmart, where her cheerful spirit and hard work made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and customers alike. Her commitment to her job was matched only by her love for her family, which she placed above all else.

Rosemarie met and married her high school sweetheart, John Saloiye, at Garfield High School. Rosemarie loved time spent with family and friends which brought her special happiness. Rosemarie was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church for over 60 years. She was known for her love of camping, and losing herself in a good book. She also enjoyed day trips to new places, highlighting her love of life and unyielding spirit.

Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband, John Saloiye, and her son, Michael Saloiye, both of whom remain lovingly remembered in the hearts of their family. 

As we remember Rosemarie, we celebrate her nurturing heart, her unwavering devotion to family, and the indelible imprint she left on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she may have departed from this earth, her spirit will forever echo in the laughter of her grandchildren and in the stories shared amongst family. 

The family will have services on September 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road Stow, OH 44224.
