Ronald “Chuck” Brown, 67, of Stow, passed away after a battle with cancer on February 16, 2025. He was born in Youngstown on February 7, 1958, the son of the late Ronald and Jeannette Brown. Chuck will always be remembered as a gentleman whose personality could light up a room. He never met a stranger and was always welcoming. He was a licensed social worker and served for many years helping troubled youth at Safehouse Ministries in the Youngstown area. In his free time, Chuck enjoyed singing on the Praise Team at church, driving his 68 Firebird, playing a round of golf, going to the beach, traveling, and going to family gatherings. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Roger Murillo; and sister-in-law Marcia Salzman. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Lynette Brown; sister Diane Murillo; brothers Jeff (Donna) Brown and Paul (Melanie) Brown; nieces Courtney (Sean) Pakos, Riley Brown, Ruby Brown; nephews Vinny Brown, Noah Rodrigues, T.J. Friend, and Bryant Friend; brother-in law Lyle Salzman; sisters-in-law Luann (Dave) Nicholas, Dawna (Tom) Henslin, Gayle (Kim) Cole, Sherrie (Art) Tanner, and Lori (Jerry) Skiba; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends; as well as his dog “Maddie”. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2025 at The Lighthouse Church (315 Graham Road in Cuyahoga Falls), where a Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 12:00 PM.
