Robert Charles Amos Jr., 52, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Rob was born in Akron, Ohio on February 13th, 1971, to RC & Justine Amos. Justine used to say that if Rob had been born one day later, she would have named him Valentine.
Rob attended the welding program at Springfield HS and worked for 34 years as a welder. Rob was known for giving everyone that he loved a crazy nickname, from Haus, and Sunshine, to Cackus. Rob’s hobbies included watching his sons race BMX and dirt bikes, golfing, auto racing, and college football. Rob will always be remembered for his love of the Michigan Wolverines.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bob & Timothy Mollohan, Rob leaves behind his wife Missy, sons Nathan and Cameron (Morgan), stepsons Jesse & Evan, sisters Sharon (Eddie); Rose (Terry); and Vicky, brother Mark, many nieces, nephews and extended family, and best friends Roger Wilson and Mark Lund.
Cremation has taken place. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 13th from 4-7 pm at Adams Mason Funeral Home, 791 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305.
