On November 24, 2024, Rhonda Irene Day (nee Richards), 73, of Peninsula, Ohio passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband Mark at her side.

Rhonda was a passionate and independent soul who found joy in fishing, dancing to the oldies, and being with family. She will be remembered - and missed - for all the heart she shared with those around her. If you knew Rhonda, you knew her profound affection and vibrant spirit. When her final moment came, she left us with dignity, strength, and an enduring sense of love.

Rhonda is survived by her beloved husband, Mark; brother, Tom Richards; sister, Loretta Richards; children, Dylanna Jackson and Dawn Jackson; stepchildren, Dorian Day and Brandi Day-Loar; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a host of loyal friends and extended family members who feel her absence profoundly.

In typical Rhonda fashion, no services are planned, and certainly no pomp or circumstance. However, a celebration of her life is scheduled for May 24, 2025. Details regarding the time and location will be shared with family and friends closer to the date.

In lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
