Phillip James Elliott

Phillip J. Elliott, 77 passed away November 21, 2024. He was born December 21, 1947 in Daphne, AL to Ola May Roper and Herbert Elliott Sr. Phillip, also known as Mouth, attending trade schools in Alabama.  Phillip moved to Akron, Ohio in 1960 and worked in construction for many years. His favorite hobbies were playing cards, gardening, watching football, listening to music and watching NASCAR Racing.  Phillip is preceded in death by his wife, Alterine Elliott, parents Ola May Roper, father Herbert Elliott Sr., brothers, Herbert Jr. and Jerome; sister Jo'Ann Elliott and Brownie (his dog).  To cherish his memory, Phillip leaves his loving children Aphilidian aka Flay (Jason) Griffin, and son Phillip. Sisters, Marie, Francis and Ola. Brothers, Lee Frank, Louis and James.  Bonus children Augda Alexander, and Asonya Alexander-Fry, special grandchildren Michelle Alexander, Andre Kenner, Phillip Elliott Jr., special great grandchildren Terrell Hall, Brandon and Brielle Samuel, Phillip III, Zayden and Jaiden Elliot, step grandchildren, Curtis, Alea, Shawtae, Tadisa, Joe, Tamika, Torlisa, Johnny, bonus great grandchildren, relatives and friends.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
