Peter Michael Botez Jr.

Peter Michael Botez Jr. was born in the village of Hayange (Moselle) France on August 31, 1950. Peter was the son of Pierre Botez Sr. and Ruth Turksch Botez. Peter's family lived in Germany until 1956; when the Botez family arrived in the United States.

Peter told me that Catholic Charities and the German American Club sponsored his family to come to America. Peter attended St. Mary's School along with his brother, Wolfgang.

Peter worked at the family business, Little Bug Shop, for years before starting his own business, The Lightning Lube, in Hartville, OH.

Peter's greatest accomplishment in life was his son, Brian Botez. Peter was so proud of him and loved him dearly. Brian also blessed Peter with the most wonderful granddaughter, Ava Botez.

Peter was proceeded in death by his loving parents, Pierre Botez Sr. and Ruth Botez.

Peter is survived by his son, Brian Botez, granddaughter Ava Botez, brother Wolfgang Botez and his lifelong friend and Honey Bunny, Jeannie McCrossin.

Peter, we are lost without you. Brian and I are heartbroken. You left us without a goodbye.

We all need a time for tears. Not for the one who is now at peace in Heaven but for ourselves as we realize things will never be the same.
