Mike Kovach, 96, of Barberton, Ohio passed away October 10, 2022, at home with his family by his side following a short illness. He was born November 8, 1925, In Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Mike and Mary (Benco) Kovach. On August 30, 1952, he married Luvera "Mae" Kovach (Spencer). Together they shared 70 years of marriage.
Mike was a WW II Veteran and worked as a machinist at Admiral Machine and Quality Mold. He was a member of Cottage Grove E.C. Church where he taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. He loved to play golf, horseshoes, and spend time with his family. He was loved by everyone and will be missed until we see him again.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law Patty and Bryce Langford; great-grandson Lincoln Wiley; brother Paul; and sister Betty Crislip. He is survived by his wife Mae; sons Bob (Deborah), Michael (Misty), and Mark; daughters Karen Lamb (Bill Wallace); 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Akron, OH 44319, with Pastor John Friedlund officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mike's name to Cottage Grove E.C. Church.
