Michael Edward Russell

Michael Edward Russell, 64, passed away peacefully April 21, 2024, following a brief illness.

He was born December 15th, 1959, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Thomas and Lucille Russell.

He attended Erie Island, Simon Perkins and Buchtel High School.

Mike was a skilled auto technician. He loved motorcycles. And as a hobby, he collected and restored vintage bicycles.

Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his wife Sheila, brother Robert Russell, and sister Janine Schafer.

He is survived by his cherished companion of many years, Pam James, son Shawn Russell, daughter Grace Russell, brother Richard Russell, sister Cheryl Wentzel ( Robert), and Aunt Mary Russell.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery will occur at a later date.
