Melvin D. Collier

Melvin D. Collier, 74, passed away February 8, 2025 after a short illness.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972.  He loved to go fishing, go to the races, and sit on his deck and kickback and watch football with his buddy Dale.  He retired from King Machine after 23 years and spent many years before that at Tennacast as a core maker.  Melvin was a beloved husband, father, brother, and son.  He was preceded in death by his father Melville; mother Dorothy; son David; and granddaughter Courtney.  Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Bonnie; six children; 21 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two sisters.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  In keeping with his wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services held.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
