Mary Abbott, beloved by many, peacefully passed away on May 20th at the remarkable age of 103.
Born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Mary dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurses aide at Green Cross Hospital. She found immense joy in her work, always cherishing the opportunity to help those in need.
Mary was known for her vibrant spirit and love for life. She had a contagious laughter and an infectious energy that brightened the days of all who knew her. Whether it was enjoying a lively gathering with friends or simply spending time with her beloved cats and feeding the neighborhood squirrels, Mary always made the most out of every moment.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marshall, and her sons, Marshall Jr. and Mark, as well as her great grandson, Tyler. Mary is survived by her devoted son, Mitch, and daughter-in-law, Donna. She also leaves behind her cherished grandsons, Mike, Steve, and Greg, along with their spouses, and her beloved grandchildren, Lucy, Ryan, Reese, Jack, and Graham.
In addition, Mary is remembered by her daughter-in-law, Evie, and her grandchildren, Matt and Marie, along with her great grandchildren, Hayley, Lilly, Trudy, Kyle, Violet, and Delila, and her seven great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life to honor Mary Abbott's remarkable journey will be held to commemorate her legacy and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
