Martha R Mackey

Martha Mackey, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 25, 2023. She was a devoted employee of the Perry Local School District for 44 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas; and her parents, Pauline Heeley and Russell W. Raines. She will be greatly missed by her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Ritchie, and Melissa and George Burgess; son, Thomas (Armstrong); grandchildren, Evan Ritchie (Jessica), Kirstin Ritchie (Kirk), Aaron Lowery (Amanda), Jason Lowery (Lauren), and Rebecca Lowery, and Everett; great-grandchildren, James, Ashlynn, and Keegan; brother, Russell Raines; her husband’s brothers and their spouses; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be conducted. Please no flowers at Martha’s request. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
