Marsha Darlene Shelly

Marsha Darlene Shelly, age 79, of Wadsworth, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2024, in the loving hands of her husband and hero, Thomas Shelly Sr.Marsha and Thomas recently celebrated 64 years of marriage. Born on September 9, 1944, she was the eldest daughter of Ray and Irene Helms. She is survived by her husband, Thomas S. Shelly Sr.; their children, Thomas Jr., Todd, and Tighe; grandchildren, Tevin, Saila, Hannah, and Rowan; father Ray E. Helms; and siblings, Patricia Witshey, Rick Helms, Rhonda Ravenaugh, and Rayeann Helms.A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she leaves behind a legacy of love and wonderful memories. Marsha was the heart of our family with her always cheerful spirit and great sense of humor. Nothing seemed to matter more than being in the presence of her family and friends whom she held dear to her generous heart. We find comfort in knowing that her beautiful smile and story will live on in the love she shared, the lessons she taught us, and the special memories of her that we will hold with us forever. A memorial service and celebration of Marsha’s life will be held at Northside Christian Church at 7615 Ridge Road in Wadsworth, Ohio 44281 on September 28th, 2024.
