Mark S. Lacefield

Our amazing father Mark (64) left us unexpectedly August 31. He was a Kenmore High School alumni and had lived in the Akron/Barberton area for the majority of his life. Dad had been a surveyor at Campbell's & Associates for almost 2 decades, where he made lifelong friendships. In his later years he retired from Special Pack and being a general contractor. 

Our dad was an incredibly talented musician. Playing guitar was his favorite pass time. He will always be remembered with a guitar in his lap by everyone who knew him. He loved spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly. 

Dad was proceeded in death by his father Charles, his mother Cleo and his oldest brother Vance. 

Dad's memory will be kept by those who loves him. His sister Debbie (Randy) Buell, brother Mitchell (Rebecca) Lacefield, daughter Christina (Christopher) Wimberly, son Mathew Lacefield, and 5 grandchildren. As well as many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. 

His children will hold a memorial service for their father on September 30 at Town Square Villas in Brimfield, from 2p-5p. (Parking behind Wendy's ONLY)
