Margaret Ann Fites

September 15, 1943 — February 1, 2024

Margaret A. Fites of Suffield, OH went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2024, after a battle with lung cancer; at home surrounded by family. She was born to Charles and Eupha (McCormick) Wright.

Margaret graduated from Green High School in 1961. She worked at Pepsi and Acme offices doing keypunching and data entry. She also did medical transcription.

Margaret was involved in many activities within her community. She was a room mother at for her children’s classrooms. She participated in the Women’s Auxiliary at the Suffield Fire Department for many years. Margaret enjoyed gardening and canning her bounty, cooking for her loving family, crocheting, word searches, country music and The King, Elvis Presley.

Margaret and her twin sister, Margie Moore, did everything together. They even raised their children together. Margaret and Margie enjoyed making many special memories with their families. They enjoyed camping, going on vacations and going out to eat. They shared a truly special bond.

Margaret was dedicated to her faith. She was a member of Trinity Church of Nazarene.

Margaret is preceded in death by her sister Debbie Steinel, brothers David Wright and Danny Willis, and Brother-in-Law Billie Moore.

Margaret leaves behind many who will cherish her memory. Her survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, John Edwin (ED) Fites Jr., son Steve (Darla) Fites, daughter Traci Fites, grandchildren, Lindsey Fites, Summer (Cody), Diamond, Brandon Miller, great-grandchildren Aaliyah Fites and Silas Diamond and her twin sister Margie Moore. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Per Margaret's request there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Suffield Fire Department located at 1256 Waterloo Rd Suffield, OH 44260.

We will forever carry your memory in our hearts.
