Died January 13, 2024 in Akron, Ohio

Louise Joan Solomon who was loved by all passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by 5 children, Vicky Laws (Jeff), Pat Ashburn, Randall Victor (Sheryl), Chryl Haakenson (Marty), Melissa Peace (Ron Rickenbacker), 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

A person of strong faith, she was active with Akron First Assembly of God Church in Akron, OH.

She, participated with mission’s trips and a number of service projects.

Of her service projects, she was most proud of and felt called to lead the Samaritan Purse Shoe Box project. She spearheaded the collection, packaging and shipment of personal hygiene products and gifts for under privileged children overseas.

Recently, she started a Shoe Box project in OK, and she also supported a number of Christian charities.

 Celebration of Life will be at the Akron Assembly of God Church, 1175 West Market Street on January 27, 2024.

The Church opens at 11:00 with 11:30 Services.
