Lester E. Dillon, 80, passed away March 7, 2024. He was born May 24, 1943 in Logan, West Virginia, the son of the late Dorsie and Virginia Dillon. After school, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After the service, he worked for many years as a carpenter. Lester will always be remembered as a friendly man who was always smiling. He had a great sense of humor and was always joking. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Joyce Shackleton, Janice Fish, and Zella Minor. Lester is survived by his loving wife Jocelyn Dillon, brothers Charles (Joy) Dillon and Haskel (Ellie) Dillon; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E. Market Street), where funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon.
