Katherine (Kate) Morris of Massillon, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 11th, 2022, at age 49, after bravely battling an extended illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio September 6th, 1973. She was proceeded in death by her father Arthur Haines and survived by her mother Jacqueline Haines, husband Scott Morris and their children Paige and Jacob Morris, along with her five siblings Kelly Haines, Kassey Cain, Curt Haines, Calla Frere and B. Beatty.
Kate attended Louisville High School and Stark State College. Her greatest accomplishments were being a mother to her beautiful children and a devoted wife to her husband and best friend of twenty-nine years. She was a freedom-loving patriot who cherished her country and was an advocate of the 2nd Amendment. She was also a loyal friend and a kind soul who would help anyone in need.
Kate is leaving behind a praiseworthy legacy with her #1 best-selling book series The McClane Apocalypse on Amazon. She also started and owned the company Ranger Publishing. She touched many fans by lending her heart and soul to the pages of nineteen books. Her talent and ingenuity will be dearly missed by her loyal followers and enthusiasts.
