Joseph J. Mollica

Joseph J. Mollica, “Joe”, 85, passed away January 19, 2023 at home.  Born in Akron, Joe was a proud Union painter for 60 years.  He loved fishing and boating, tending to his tropical fish, and in earlier years bred and shown Basset Hounds and Airedale Terriers.  Joe will always be remembered as a humorous guy, who loved to watch his football games and take long drives with his wife Sharon.

Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Mollica; five children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren; many friends and loved ones.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Basset Hound Club of America (Health and Welfare Fund) at https://basset-bhca.org
