With anguished hearts, Joseph “Joe” Carson, resident of Barberton, Ohio entered his eternal rest on August 18, 2023, at Doylestown Health Care Center.
Joe was a longtime Ohio resident who was born and raised in the "rough and tumble" neighborhood of North Philadelphia's Olney section on March 15, 1965. He was the oldest twin to his brother James and was one of the 9 children. In his younger years, Joe enjoyed summer trips to his Grandparents house in Barnegat Light, New Jersey, undertaking such adventurous activities as fishing, crabbing, or swimming in the bay and ocean waters and in the surrounding shore areas. Joe loved a "good joke" and would often make his family and friends laugh, by telling "his latest one,". Joe enjoyed working on mechanical things and found delight on fixing just about anything around him that he found broken. His adventurous nature also led him to move west to Northern Ohio to enjoy a quiet and more relaxed country living which he enjoyed thoroughly. Joe will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents, John Carson Jr and Lois Neilsen Carson, his brothers John Carson III, Mark Carson and sisters Dianne and Marianne Carson. He is survived by his children, Jessica and Joseph Jr., his siblings Lois Carson, Matthew Carson, Andrew Carson, and twin James Carson. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doylestown Health Care Center at 95 Black Dr. in Doylestown, Ohio 44230.
