Dr. John G. Fratz, Jr. D.D.S.

Dr. John G. Fratz, Jr. D. D. S. died on February 11, 2023. He was born in 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Grace and John G. Sr. He earned bachelor's and dental degrees at The Ohio State University, then served in the U.S. Army as an entomologist and dentist at Fort Polk. In 1967, he established a dental practice that lasted 53 years, first in North Hill and then in Cuyahoga Falls. His work was everything to him. His patients will recall his careful attention to their dental care, as well as beginning treatment with “How you doing?” and a long chat.

“Doc” is predeceased by his parents and sister Joanie and her husband Jerry Massa, and a few good friends, Red Denier, Joe Cacioppo, and Jerry Leipply. He is remembered by his son, Greg Fratz and his wife Debbie, grandchildren Kevin and Grace, daughters Deborah and Kim, nephews Scott and Douglas Massa, and Karen Fratz.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on March 31st at Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E. Market Street), where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM.
