John Felkl

John Felkl, 98, passed away July 31, 2024. He was born March 8, 1926 in Krndija, Yugoslavia, the son of the late Martin and Anna Felkl. John “Hansi” met his wife Juliana at a dance in Austria and they spent the rest of their lives together. They arrived in the United States in 1952 and  John enjoyed a long and successful career at Louisiana Pacific. John will be dearly missed by his brother Martin; nieces and nephews Anne (John) Bass, Ingrid (Michael) Woodling; and his great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his loving wife of 75 years Juliana Felkl; siblings Anna, Thekla, Josef, Michael, and Franz; nephew Martin Felkl and his wife Drusilla Felkl. 

A shared memorial mass for John and his brother Martin, who passed shortly after him, will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales Parish (4019 Manchester Road, Akron). The family will greet guests at 10:15 AM prior to mass.
