John Arthur Baragry

John A. Baragry of Kent, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. John was born on April 23, 1936, in Ravenna to John J. and Mary H. (Fruth) Baragry.  John was a draftsman, tire designer and small business entrepreneur. Throughout his career he worked for Sterling Aldorfer, Atlas Supply, and Mickey Thompson Tire. He received his bachelor's degree in business from Malone College in 1989 and retired from Mickey Thompson in 1998.  He married his wife Betsy in 1976. Together they enjoyed sailing and visiting waterfalls.  He is survived by his sister Norma Knopf; children, Steve (Kim) Baragry and Michelle (Elson) Hershberger; grandchildren Katelyn Hershberger, Seth Hershberger, Natalee Auckerman, Ben Baragry; great-grandchildren Julia Rieger, Shawn Klesch, Gauge Auckerman, Atticus Auckerman, Saoirse Baragry; nephew Carl Knopf.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betsy, daughter Bethany Baragry, granddaughter Amanda Klesch, and niece Bridget Knopf Auble.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
