Jocquet Dontae Turner, age 37, of Akron, Ohio, made his beautiful energetic arrival into the world on March 11, 1986. Born to Mia Turner in Pittsburg, PA. Joc as we affectionately called him, loved his family and loved to cook. He also loved his dogs. Joc was high school football legend and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan. Joc was an avid card and domino player. He is survived by his children Jocquet Dontae Turner Jr, Dontae Jocquet Turner, and Jacquline Annette Turner. He leaves to cherish his mother Mia Turner, grandmother Rosetta Turner, sister Alicia Turner, brother Carl Horton III, and sister Niaja Brokaw. He is survived by niece Takaya Turner, nephew Taymier Turner, niece Carly Horton, uncles Robert Lockett, Mario Lockett and William Jackson, mother of his children Sara Buckner and host of cousins, family members and friends. He was proceeded in death by grandfather Wilbert Turner and beloved uncle John Jackson. Joc passed away on November 4, 2023. Jocquet will be deeply missed by his loved ones, family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
