JoAnne Doyle, born on November 15, 1962, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Kim Doyle, and her parents, J.B. and Phyllis McCrary.
JoAnne is survived by her five children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild; Christopher Heather, Nathaniel and Caitlyn; Shawna, Austin, Peyton and Aurora; Sheila Shane, Hailey and Maci; Nichalas and Joseph. Her siblings David (Denise) McCrary, Stephen (Michele) McCrary, Dorothy (Lonnie) Hoffman, Eddy McCrary, and Marie (Paul) Hooper, as well as many other family and lifelong friends.
JoAnne was a loving mother to her five children and an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother. JoAnne was a devoted person, caring and loving for all children that crossed her path. She was impactful to many young children and dedicated her life to being a child care provider to dozens of children with each one holding a special place in her heart. She spent many years tutoring children at the schools and volunteering at the church.
In her free time, JoAnne loved to travel with her husband and children, specifically on cruises and to the beach, and spend time with her family – her house was always the hub for large family parties!
JoAnne had a dream of being a small business owner that started when she was a young girl working at the custard stand across the street from her childhood home. Her passion for being a small business owner was fulfilled when she and Kim bought the Kenmore Freeze. Through this venture she was able to find joy in running a small business while also serving the community she loved.
The world lost one of its greats, and JoAnne will be missed by many.
