A Korean wartime veteran, lifetime member of VFW Post 3880 and American Legion Post 0449. Jerry was a very generous and caring person, never wanting accolades for his generosities. Jerry was always a supervisor, a strong and steady presence, a go with the flow kind of guy living a very simple life. Jerry loved war and western movies, reading the Beacon Journal, watching Judge Judy and The Price is Right. A retiree of Firestone, starting in the mailroom at 15 years old, eventually becoming a supervisor of racing and experimental, only missing 8 days of work in 38 years. He will be greatly missed, as he is greatly loved. He is survived by daughter Renee (David), son Mark and daughter Roslyn. Grandchildren Shannon (Todd), Rachelle (Charlie), Jessica, Brandon, Mackenzie (Marty), Natalie (Jason), Jill (Chris), and Luke Victor. Jerry is also survived by many great grandchildren and one great, great grandson, brother Larry and a slew of nieces and nephews he adored. Carry on Soldier.
