Jennifer Pevear

 Jennifer Lynn Pevear, 74, of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her own bed on December 28, 2024. She is loved and missed by her husband Richard Dingledine, her children Dan and Joanna Schimmelpfenig, her daughter-in-law Lydia, and her beloved grandchildren Luke, Ella, and Zack. Jennifer is also mourned by her brother Alan Pevear, her sister-in-law Sandy, and her niece Stephanie. Jennifer had the love of her two bonus sons, Jason and Benjamin Dingledine and her grandchildren Antoinette and Sebastian. 

 Born in Buffalo, NY, on March 26, 1950, to Dorothy Lunn Pevear and John Clement Pevear, she was raised in Cumberland, MD and graduated in 1968 from Hollidaysburg High School in Hollidaysburg, PA. A generation ahead of the times, Jennifer became a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher in 1980 and a licensed massage therapist in 1986. She integrated the two as an entrepreneur operating The Massage Center for many years. 

 Her dedication to a lifestyle of health and fitness led to many of Jennifer and Rick's adventurous travels. They trekked Nepal, toured Europe, traversed the South Island of New Zealand, and explored America all the while buying unique fabric, drinking wine, and researching her ancestral connections.

 Jennifer cherished her time and travels with her friends from many different garment sewing groups and spent countless hours creating her own wardrobe. Her deep interest in genealogy led her to even more friends and an outlet for her patriotism when she joined the Joshua Stow Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

 Jennifer piloted the promotion and participation of the Stow community to join the collaboration between DAR and Wreaths Across America, which ensures that every veteran laid to rest in Stow is honored with a wreath at their gravesite for the holiday season. Donations celebrating Jennifer's life and passions may be made to the Joshua Stow Chapter to continue the success of the Wreaths Across America program in Stow, Ohio.
