Jennie Lee Chin

Jennie L. Chin passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 95. She was born on February 14, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert W Chin and half brother Benjamin Lee. Jennie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert A Chin and Andrea Appel, her “step-granddaughter” Joey Davis, and very close long time friends Elaine and Chuck Twigg.   

Jennie attended St. Clair grade school, Empire Middle School, and East High School in Cleveland, Ohio. After high school, she worked as a secretary in accounting in the Cleveland Trust Building.

She married Robert W. Chin in 1950 and had one son, Robert A, Chin in 1954.

Jennie traveled many times over the years to California to visit her husband’s side of the family in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. She had also vacationed in France and Germany, but her favourite place to visit was Hawaii which she did more than any other place that she had been to. 

In 2009, she and her husband entered St. Edward Care home. She resided there until her recent death.

Jennie said she lived a contented life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
