Jan Gail Mealer

Jan Mealer 71, of Wadsworth passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023. She was born in Akron, OH  to Frank and Hannelore Lilley.

Jan loved power walking, sunflowers, word searches, white mints and most of all her family. To be around her always made you smile.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents and loving son Michael Steven Mealer.
She is survived by her wonderful loving daughter Jenni and her favorite son-in-law Don Jordahl. Grandchildren Hattie (AJ) Krowiorz, Max Jordahl, and Logan Mealer, “other daughter” Melanie, and best friend Michelle.

Jenni and Don would like to thank all of the staff, especially the second floor at Wadsworth Pointe, as well as Summa Hospice for their amazing care and attentiveness and support. You are all so appreciated for what you do.

At Jan’s request no service will be held, but the family invites you to do a random act of kindness to make someone smile.

Jan will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.
