James Victor Belka Jr.

James V. Belka Jr., 49, passed away suddenly January 24, 2024.  He was born September 15, 1974 in Akron, the son of James and Vernice Belka Sr.  Jim will always be remembered as a guy who was willing to help anyone at the drop of a hat.  He worked for Miller’s Towing.  In his free time, you could find him fishing or working on cars.  

Jim is preceded in death by his son Cody James Belka; grandfather John Smith; grandmother Jane Smith (née Hubbard); and his father-in-law Anthony Jarvis, who affectionately referred to him as Jimmers.  He is survived by his loving wife Ashley Belka; sons Ryan, Timothy and Kyle; granddaughter Abigail; parents James Sr. And Vernice Belka; brothers John Belka and Joe Belka (Lynsey); sister Kristina Belka; mother-in-law Susan Jarvis; and special friend Leonard Broyles.

A memorial service will be 4:30 PM Thursday, February 8, 2024 at King’s Way Church (2500 Kingsport Way, Akron, Ohio 44314) with dinner to follow.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
