Jack William Daniels, Jr., 60, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 24, 2024 after a short illness. He was born on May 12, 1963, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Jack Daniels Sr. and LaVerne Harris.
Jack was a fun-loving, silly, and outgoing individual. He had a zest for life that was contagious, always bringing laughter and joy to those around him. His vibrant personality made him a beloved friend and cherished family member.
Jack is survived by his mother, LaVerne Harris, and his daughters, Candace (Anthony) Cook of Barberton, OH, and Shanese Daniels of Akron, OH. He is also survived by his sisters, Simone (Charles) Williams of Washington State, April Thomas of Barberton, OH, and Senta (Anthony) Davis of Akron, OH. Jack leaves behind a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Jack attended Hoban and Firestone High Schools before furthering his education at Kent State University.
Jack William Daniels, Jr. will be forever remembered for his infectious laughter, his love for life, and the deep connections he formed with his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service to celebrate Jack's life will be announced at a later date. The compassionate professionals at Adams Mason Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio, are assisting the family with the arrangements.
