Gwen Orma Smith

Gwen Smith, 83, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, returned to our Heavenly Lord on January 17th, 2025.

She was a strong, kind and loving woman who cared deeply for her family, friends and pets. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by us all.

Gwen was the cherished mother of Michael and Joseph Chickino; caring stepmother of Brian (Tammy); loving grandmother of Angela (Geovani), Christina, Chad (Grace), Katlyn (Dan) and Antonio; precious great-grandmother of Nicholas, Chandler, Grayson, Eli, Amelia, Brynn, Quinn, and Devin; beloved sister of Isis and Tom. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sam; her mother and father, Ross and Ann Goff; and her daughter Anita.

A Catholic mass will be held on Friday January 31st at 10am, St. Francis of Assisi Church at 6850 Mayfield Rd, Gates Mills, OH 44040
Private interment to be held.
