George O. Morgan

George O. Morgan, 93, of Cleveland passed away April 5, 2023.  He was born November 7, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of the late Roy and Aline Morgan.  George was the dearest father of the late Lance P. Morgan; former husband of Rose Morgan; loving grandfather to Lance Lee Morgan, Matthew Michael Morgan, and the late Eva Marie Morgan; beloved great grandfather to Julie E. Morgan.  George will always be remembered as a man who was always there to help people.  He was well known in the community as a man of character.  He had a great sense of humor.  He followed in the footsteps of many Morgan family members and became a contractor.  George was the proud owner operator of Guaranteed Contractors Inc.  He will be sadly missed.  Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Slone & Company Funeral Home (13115 Lorain Avenue).  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at East Akron Cemetery (1135 East Market Street in Akron).  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
