George Mark Brezovsky Jr

George Mark Brezovsky Jr, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, April 25th 2024. George was born February 13th 1950. George was a beloved friend to many (Mark, Bob, Carolyn & many impoverished citizens of Akron), a father. of 5 daughters, Ruth Eimers, Elizbeth Brezovsky, Hannah Brezovsky, Naomi Brezovsky, Abigail Brezovsky and 2 sons Seth and Samuael Brezovsky. He was also devoted lover of Jesus Christ.

George was an interesting and complicated character. He was a Vietnam veteran, enlisting in August of 67 at the height of the war. He did one tour duty in Vietnam as a truck mechanic. After that, he came back to the States and pursued a degree at Trinity Bible School to become a pastor. There he met his future wife, Debbie, and mother of his seven children. He worked in various ministries and churches throughout the years. But his main form of occupation was the “DeSign Guy”. You see, George had another aspect to his personality, he loved art (and cigars, & wine!). He was quite the artist. As the “DeSign Guy” he would make a living by creating and selling signs to local establishments, churches, businesses etcetera, thus following the pattern of many artists during the Renaissance. He loved Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Black African Art. George had a lot of wisdom, both worldly and spiritual (Christian). He was close confidant to his friends and a source of joy and comfort to them. George will be dearly missed, but we know he’s united with love of his life. Jesus Christ.
