Edward George Gerzanics

Edward George Gerzanics died on February 1, 2025. He was the loving husband of Kara, the loving father of devoted son Adam (Katie) and devoted daughter Callie (Robert). He is survived by his sisters, Maryellen (Sam), Annette and Anna Marie, many cousins and dear friends, and his fur babies, Moo, Chica, Chai & Hex. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Antoinette, his sister Christine and beloved dog MoMo.

He grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio where he had numerous friends. He had many great memories of living there. He always had a Twinsburg story to tell.

Eddie was a skilled machinist as well as a journeyman welder repair. He could fix most anything at work and at home. He worked as a senior maintenance mechanic at Swagelok in Solon, Ohio. 

Eddie loved playing music with his band Wheelhouse. There was no greater joy for him than singing and playing his guitar. He was also an avid golfer and could always be found on a golf course if he wasn’t playing music.

Eddie was a diehard Browns fan. No matter how poorly the game might be progressing, he would watch and cheer them on. He always believed that next year was the year.

Eddie is also survived by his daughter McKenzie Tromp.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude for the care provided to Eddie by the entire staff at HMC Hospice in Medina. 

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on Saturday, February 15th. Calling hours will be held from 10 am – 12 pm. The Funeral Mass will begin at Noon.
