Edward L. Evans

Edward L. Evans went gently into that good night on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the age of 78. Loving husband of 48 years to Joan Evans (nee Thomas). Son of the late Edward and Myrtle Evans (nee Haines) of Gretna, Louisiana. Loving father of Melissa Evans and Kenneth Evans. Beloved grandfather of Ariana Evans and Jaxon Evans. Edward was born in Gretna, Louisiana on October 12, 1944 and later moved to Ohio where he raised his family and worked in the freight forwarding industry for 40 years. He was a freemason of 45 years. Edward will be remembered by his family and friends for his off-the-wall humor, his ability to make strangers laugh, his loyalty, and most of all for his deep love of family.
