Donna Jean Waggoner

Donna Jean Waggoner, age 78, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on April 13, 1946, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Robert Martin and Geraldine Cook.

Donna graduated from Sandusky High School and furthered her education at Wooster Business College. She dedicated many years of her career to Summa Health before retiring. 

Donna found joy in spending time with her family and friends and cherished the companionship of her beloved dogs over the years. She had a passion for cooking and loved sharing recipes and conversations about food. She also enjoyed watching daytime television and held her Christian faith close to her heart throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Ted (Julie) Waggoner and Tim (Lisa) Waggoner; her niece and nephew, Tracy Light and Mike (Julie) Shisler; five grandchildren, George, Kristin, Timmy (Emily), Sarah (Ryan), and Abbie; as well as six great-grandchildren, Leo, Ella, Tyler, Landen, Kayson, and Clara.

In accordance with Donna’s wishes, no funeral service will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date to honor her memory.

 Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, 

and let perpetual light shine upon her.
