Donald Garry Canfield

Donald Garry Canfield, 67, passed away January 8, 2025. He was born July 21, 1957 in Lodi, Ohio, the son of the late Howard and Mary Canfield. Don and his twin brother were known as the largest babies born in Lodi! Don will always be remembered as a jokester. Aside from spending time with his family, Don loved playing the lottery, drinking spirits, playing poker, cooking, mushroom hunting, and taking great care of his garden. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sisters Mary Canfield and Sandy Jason; brothers Howard Jr., John, and his twin brother Ron. Don is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Elizabeth “Liz”; sons Phillip, Clayton, and Eric (Sara) Canfield; daughter Ashley Canfield; brother Jim (Sandy) Canfield extended family member Matt Patterson; grandchildren Shane, Jayden, Jacob, Alexis, Brooklynn, Sylis, Alauna, and Lacey Anne; sisters-in-law Joyce (Kevin) Hagan and Char (Gus) Halblaub; nephews Nick and Bruce; nieces Lisa, Lissy, and Harley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Per his wishes, Don will be cremated and his family will take him home to cherish his memory. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
