Danny G. Duncan

Danny G. Duncan, born on January 17, 1953, in Hickory, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024, in Tallmadge, Ohio, after enduring a long illness. He is remembered for his unwavering spirit and the love he shared with those around him.

Danny graduated from Field High School in 1972, where he the foundation for lifelong friendships and a close-knit community. Throughout his life, he exemplified dedication not only to his work but also to his family. Danny was a devoted husband to Cynthia Duncan and a proud father to Erik Duncan and Bennie Duncan Sr. His role as a father was a source of immense pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with his children. Danny was also a loving so to his dear mother, Irma Church.

He welcomed his daughters-in-law, Melissa Rambler and Angelica Duncan, into the family with open arms, embracing them as his own. As a grandfather, Danny adored his granddaughter, Hannah Duncan, and grandson, Bennie Duncan Jr., cherishing the laughter and love they brought into his life. Additionally, he took great delight in his role as a great-grandfather to Hazel Duncan, a testament to the enduring legacy of love he created for generations to come.

Danny shared a special bond with his siblings: Cynthia K. Duncan, Connie Early, and Barbara Clark. Their closeness provided him with a foundation of support and camaraderie throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved father, George Duncan, sister Donna Holden, as well as his loving stepfather James Church. The loss of these family members weighed heavily on his heart, yet their memories continued to inspire him.
