Charles A. Cunningham, age 69, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on
February 25, 2024, after a courageous six year battle with cancer.
He will always be remembered as a dedicated father and proud grandfather. He was a true friend to everyone he met and leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Esther and Marvin Cunningham. He had four brothers and one sister- Tracy (Kay) Wharton, Edward (Maxine) Wharton, Luella Houston, Marvin (Brooke) Cunningham and Phillip (Andrea) Cunningham. Charles had four children-Matthew Cunningham, Jessica Cunningham, Cynthia (Ezekiel) Hobdy, and Barbara Cunningham. He had eight grandchildren who he loved and cherished. As well as many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Despite his brave fight against cancer that eventually took his life ,his legacy lives through those whose heart's he touched.
Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers Tracy and Phillip and daughter, Barbara.
To honor Charles’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Charles’s life at a later time. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
