On December 29, 2022, Charles Anson Bruckelmyer left our earth to play his trumpet in our Lord's presence.
He left behind an unparalleled legacy, with many friends and many more family members. The love of his life, late Mildred Bruckelmyer (Gibson) who preceded him in 2019. He is survived by his 3 younger brothers, Craig Bruckelmyer, Clay Bruckelmyerand Terrance (Terry) Bruckelmyer collectively growing up in Charlestown, OH. and graduating from Southeast High School.
During his time here on earth, he answered the call of duty, leaving his trumpet and academics at the University of Akron to serve as a Marine in our country's Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Upon return, he married and fathered (2) son's. The eldest being Chad Bruckelmyer with whom cared for him up to his departure. And Jason Bruckelmyer.
During his relationships, he chose to fulfill the role of Dad to step children, Jefferey Roseling, Mellisa Dearth, Erin Dearth and Jessica Parbel (Dearth). All of whom cared deeply for him and came to him when they were needed most. He was blessed with many grandchildren, whom he took great joy in knowing.
He rose to the challenges of blending families, through the ups and downs to weave fabric of relationships that would last a lifetime. His example through doing this shows the heart of a great man who sought love, and family. Which should be an example for us all.
