Carley was born to Edward and Beverly Stanger on October 11, 1953. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. In addition to teaching, she worked in food service and started her own vending machine company. Carley loved nature and enjoyed waterfalls and canoeing. She was an active member of her church and established her congregation’s Helping Hands program.
Carley is survived by her husband, Robert Jon; her sisters, Delores Hopkins and Jacqueline Pifer; her children, Dustin (Katie) Nichols and Meredith (Eric) Weese; her grandchildren, Dylan and Shelton Nichols, Aiden and Bradley Weese; and her great-granddaughter Adelina Rose Nichols.
Carley’s celebration of life will be on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 pm. It will be held at the Church of God International at 3398 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, OH 44256. Refreshments will be provided to help family and friends share their memories. All who remember Carley fondly are welcome. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
