Bruce D. Wagner passed away unexpectedly November 22, 2023. Bruce was a unique man who never met a stranger. He served the public for many years as an Akron police officer with his beloved partner, Bob Chalman Bruce spent the last few years in Florida and just moved back to Barberton in 2020. He was an avid golfer, who was always up for a round. There was nothing he liked better than shopping, though. He couldn’t resist a bargain that kept him in the latest fashion. He was also an animal lover who spoiled his rescue cat Princess. Bruce was a loving grandfather, father, son, brother, and cousin. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill and his son Nick. He is survived by his granddaughters, Carter Wagner and Alyssa Wolfe, his sisters Maggi Snyder, Lesli Wagner and Leisa Bennett and their families and numerous loving cousins, and his dearest friend, Jim Graber.
