Bonnie Bednar

Bonnie Jean Bednar passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 67. Born and raised in Akron, she was a loving mother, adored aunt, wonderful sister and a tough, strong-willed, feisty woman that loved to spend time with her family.  After working for Giant Eagle for 18 years, Bonnie retired and went back to school and received her degree in medical assisting.  She is survived by her daughter Jennifer, sister Beverly, brothers Kenneth (Daphne), Ronald (Debra), and David (Sherry). Cousin Winnie (Glenn). Nieces Stacy (Dan), Amanda, Adelyn, and Gemma and nephews Michael (Megan), Josh, Jeff (Dessie), Nathan (Molly), Michael (Stevie), Zachary, Bradley, and Myles. As well as many more nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and her dog Beans.  She will be joining her family in heaven, husband Stephen Bednar Jr, mother Maraaret Bever. brother in law David Decker as well as her dogs Emmie, Abbie, Bobo, Malley and Spencer.  Her family would like to thank the Summa Akron City ICU team as well as the University Hospitals ICU team for all that they do.  A celebration of life will be held January 4, 2025 from 4-8pm at the Uniontown Fire Station.  Arrangments entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
